3，5-Dimethylpyrazole (3,5-DMP): a white crystalline powder and heterocyclic fine chemical. Its molecular formula is C₅H₈N₂, molecular weight 96.13, melting point 107~108°C, boiling point 218°C. It dissolves slightly in water, but readily in common organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone.
